[Gllug] can't switch between virtual terminals

fraid not

tty[0-6] enabled in /etc/inittab

/etc/kde2/kdm/Xservers
:0 local at tty1 /usr/X11R6/bin/X  -dpi 75 -nolisten tcp vt7

I'm wondering if it's a keyboard issue ?

the only odd keyboard issue is that in emacs the windows key works as 
the meta key (alt doesn't)
