Wulf,
If you are going to the shop IIRC they allow you to have a tasting session -
pay a small fee and get small cups of several varieties of beans. For years
we have been buying their Kenyan high roast, but it seems that the harvest
has failed (again?) so they sent us a free sample pack of four different
beans (with enough beans to make 2/3 pots of each type). Its been a good
week for us coffee addicts!
