[Gllug] GTK2 and Glib 2 not showing up

I'm afraid I have no idea what header files are. I did go to the gtk 
site and download glib2.2.0. I successfully did ./configure and make but 
  it didn't 'make install'. I think I did try the devel download once 
but will happily try anything again.
