A friend of mine has a neat analogy for this to present to corporates.

Would they pay for a type of television advertisment that not only
wasn't viewable unless you had a particular make of television, but
berated other viewers for being worthless losers with the "wrong" kind
of television?

No?

Then why do it with Websites?
