Axel,
well that rules out thr "stuffed RAM" theory if wingoze make it work.
seems to be a linux driver hiccup.
IF you had the same prob with the G400 did you ask the list then if so the answer may be in the archive.....................

Well, I remember having a similar problem with my old Matrox G400 - but
that's more than a year ago and I can't remember what I did to fix it
(d'oh!).
Just upgraded from it to the new ATI - which works a dream in windozzze.
