there are a couple of chips about the same size as the main processor 
that look like they probably do some dedicated (prbably mpeg decoding) 
processing

but since this box doesn't use ethernet like I thought it did - it 
really isn't any use to me ...

it's a real shame if so many of them are getting scrapped ...

but without ethernet it just isn't worth the time (for me)
