Hi
One of the best sources of information on older Sun per-Ultra machines 
is the Sun Hardware Reference:
	http://www.sunhelp.org/info-ref.php

Part 1 has an overview of the many Sun systems, and part 2 has details 
on the pin outs of those strange serial ports.

There is also a good collection of cables/adapter information at:
	http://www.hardwarebook.net/
(also available as a Debian package)


If your LX has the two-in-one D25 connector then you should be able 
to use the first serial port without a special connector (eg with 
just a normal serial or null-modem cable). If it's a min-Din plug 
(similar to a PS/2 keyboard) then you'll need an adapter or build 
your own.
