[Gllug] Help with Red Hat 8.0 install on Win 98

Hi,
  I'm new to all this.  Is there any other way of participating in a mailing 
list without using your email address?  On the technical front are you 
suggesting I put /swap and /. on the freed up partition.  What is /. as 
opposed to /
