[Gllug] Serial Port as Boot Console

I'm just setting up a headless box running Debian Woody 2.2.22 kernel and I have a
slight syntax problem.

All the reference material, "Remote-Serial-Console-HOWTO.html" for example refers to:

	serial=0,9600n8

and

	 append="console=tty0 console=ttyS0,9600n8"

in /etc/lilo.conf

and

	co:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty ttyS0 CON9600 vt102

in /etc/inittab

However, my boot messages refer to:

	Serial driver version 4.27 with no serial options enabled
	ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A

I don't want to break my configuration before I behead my box.

So should I refer to

	serial=00,9600n8

or to
	serial=0,9600n8

and to

	ttyS00

or to
	ttyS0 ?

Thanks in anticipation :-)
