[Gllug] I/O error

Hi,
I have a corrupted file in my / file system. I get

debian:/etc# ls lvmtab.d
ls: lvmtab.d: Input/output error

I can't even 'ls'it to get an inode number. I've tried fsck but it can't
fix it. This problem is preventing me from importing the VG I have my
system on.

Does anyone know any tricks or do I have to move the root file system?
