Hi folks,
i recently (about 10 mins ago) tried to repair the mouse on my toshiba portege
610 (it only went up, left and right) i have found the culpret, a little crappy
cheaply made plastic coated data carrier with 5 lines in had several thin
breaks in, the kind of bit that you 'could' make, the real bother is that its
attached to the actual 4 contact pads that are pressed when u push the eraser thingee, and this is largly plastic, any replacment i make would destroy this when i solder it to it, so,:...
does anyone have a broken/old portege 610/620 keyboard (or even just this
crappy bit) they dont want/want to sell, or know where i can get one for about a fiver :)
afaik some of the other keyboards that have this bit will work, mine has a
removable chunk where the trackpoint can be removed from underneath it. (this
is the bit i want) :-)
wow i ramble,
thanks
Ian
