[Gllug] Evolution upgrade breaks IMAP

Well perhaps breaks is too strong a word but after upgrading my Redhat 8.0 
installation of Evolution from 1.0.8 to 1.4 via the Ximian upgrade tool, 
the imap performance is now unusably slow.

Has anyone else seen this and/or does anyone have any idea how to resolve 
the problem ?
