Fraid so.

I'm now into Day 5 of banging my head on this problem. Sadly, I can't
find *any* documentation of "what Media Player/WinAmp accepts as
input". If I could, then I could select options accordingly.

John Hearns has relayed the query to the linuxmovies mailing list, which
might help. At present, I can get kino's VCD output to work, and a
generic mpeg2, but I'm hoping to produce something of reasonable
quality.
