The partitions do get mounted under /mnt/sysimage (IIRC it could be
/tmp/sysimage), or do you mean existing partitions.

It might be helpful to find out what you are trying to achieve - ie
whether you can get away with using kickstart with a post section or you
actually need to hack anaconda.

The following howto may be useful to you:

http://www.linuxworks.com.au/redhat-installer-howto.html

If you do need to hack anaconda - first off install the anaconda and
anaconda-runtime package so you can build a base install image. Ensure
you have the following installed for building anaconda itself:

XFree86-devel atk-devel bogl bogl-bterm bogl-devel booty bzip2-devel
dietlibc e2fsprogs-devel elfutils-devel fontconfig-devel freetype-devel
glib2-devel gtk2-devel pango-devel pump-devel

You probably want to install the anaconda src.rpm and then use CVS
to control your changes in a separate dev tree. Then you can rebuild the
anaconda rpms and upgrade them on your system - then try and build a
boot image.

I suggest you read the howto and join the appropriate lists.
