No, it's not. Under law, copyright violation and theft are entirely
distinct, and "intellectual property" (a gross misnomer) consists of
several different things - copyright, patents, trademarks, etc. - with
different characteristics.

Also untrue; making illegitimate copies in no way transfers the right
to control legitimate copies.
