Hello all

I'm new to this Linux lark and trying to get a printer attached via a 
Knoppix bootable cd.
Using a lexmark 3200 via lpt1, and trying to send test prints via Staroffice 
word processor program, but no joy yet.
Then I read about 'kprinter',and 'cups', do I need to configure these as 
well to get some output?
Any help gratefully received.
