[Gllug] X - .mp3 problem

hi list,

solved the .mp3 problem by applying the patch.

Now my friend needs to see .dat and .mpeg/.mpg
movies. Any suggestions?

what all packages are needed for viewing .mp(e)g
and .dat files?

  and as I recall I also installed the xmms RPM from there also
