Bruce M. Simpson is one of the developers of a freebsd mini "distro"
called ClosedBSD, he said to me he is doing wireless routing and more
advanced wireless staff. Even though I'm not sure if that is on Closed
BSD one. It fits on a floppy, and needs no hd, comes also with a
ncursers based interface geared towards people with no much network
experience.

Also the consume.net guys will be helpful on the wireless side of things.
