[Gllug] Broadband Configuration

Dear GLLUGers,

Like many of you, I'm ready to plunge into Broadband, but am
still unsure about the exact configuration.  This is what I
currently think I'd like.

Telco<-->Modem<-------->Firewall<-->WiFi
Static   ADSL  Ethernet RH 8.0
IP                      ip-tables

Does this seem reasonable?  If so, which telco?  If not,
what have others got?  Thanks in advance for any replies.
