You said in the UK but I thought I'd throw this in anyway, I'm currently
using a dedicated server from unitedcolo.com. $99/mo for a 1.7GHz
celeron with half a gig of ram, 80Gb of disk and 1000Gb of bandwidth.
They'll install debian for you among other options.
I like the service and they have pretty good bandwidth, I've downloaded
a kernel to that box at 7Mb/sec :)p It took about 5 seconds :)
