[Gllug] Priracy.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the arguments about piracy and the rest, I
just thought I would throw my oar into the argument, and say its been
entertaining reading, and seems to me entirely appropriate for a Linux forum.
My personal view is that copyright and patent law are central to all the
arguments about free software, and that free software is an open challenge to
all the assumptions that surround these things. If we believe in free
software the argument does not stop at the code. The whole idea of free
software is a challenge to limited concepts of "intellectual property" which
interfere with open access to ideas. If we dare to think that "open source"
is a good idea, why can't we think a bit further?

Whatever.
