hiya,
i have noticed the lines :-
/dev/hdc /mnt cdrom auto
user, io charset=iso8859-15, codepage=850, umask=0,usrquota 0 0
having an fstab entry on more than one line is invalid,
replace it with this :-
/dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom auto umask=0,usrquota 0 0
that should do it :-)
