I hope you've unplugged it as well?

They could be anywhere, but they will normally all be together. Look for small 
devices that can be rotated either by means of a small knob (they might even 
be exposed out the back of the casing); a small pole onto which a knob could 
be replaced, or what is much like a screw's top. Once you've identified them, 
then plug it in and try it out. 

And keep your fingers away from capacitors!
