That sounds unfortunate :(

It's up to you if you want to replace all the components - if you're willing
to void warranties a lot of IDE drives have (reportedly) worked fine with 
the kit. You probably just want a replacement network adaptor + Linux discs,
and maybe a monitor cable if you lost that too.
