Is the cable connecting the hard drive to the motherboard correctly installed? 
(Coloured side to pin 1 on the motherboard, nearest to the power connectors 
on the hard drive). Take it out and plug it in again? Take it out (at both 
ends) and clean the connections of any dust, etc? Any pins on the motherboard 
or hard drive broken?
