The difference here is that the energy is in a stored form, not fused and
from a power supply.  So the current is totally dependent on the person's
resistance, via Ohm's Law.  Another contributor to death is the length of
contact.  Milliseconds of contact, even at high voltage is unlikely to kill,
but a few seconds even at 240V ac can easily be fatal.
