He wont. His only real hope lies in the contract for privision of the kit. 
If it states that title in the goods remains with the supplier until full 
payment is received he can simply pull back the equipment.

The services are a lost cause.

Alternatively he could try suing the individual trustees of the charity - 
that's an expensive process though with little guarantee of any return.
