I guess they are in a rough time step because of the 2.6 kernel.
Just a total guess on my part - maybe the distros plan an update
when 2.6 was thought to be due. But Linus releases when it suits him :-)
Anyone know for sure?

BTW, Redhat Fedora out any day now - so we probably should not
refer to it as RH10
