yuck... YuckyYuckyyuck!

you need to use imake to make the Makefile.
Imake is a VERY nasty peice of work that was fortunately superceded by
autoconf/automake a few years ago.

It *MIGHT* just work by running imake.
but it's likely you'll have to edit the Imakefile.
