With XFree86 4.3, you can probably use the swivel quite happily, as long
as your X server has the XRANDR extension (resize and rotate). There are
even a couple of GUI apps that control it for you IIRR.

Iiyama's usually come with a 3 year on-site warranty, which is
definitely a good thing. Response rate on TFT screens can be important,
especially if you ever want to play the odd game.
