[Gllug] image to pdf????

Hi All,

i have a couple of images I need to convert from to command line to pdf
files. I have tried saving as ps or pdf from a windows box, but using
ps2pdf ends up with bits of image buried in the corner of the page...
any pointers anyone? I have to create the original images on the Windos
box, but the rest is Linux based
