Make sure you install this one:
http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/flashblock.xpi

It means when there's a flash animation, a placeholder sits there
until you click it, then it loads.  Very nice, quietens down those
super-busy, ad-ridden pages, but still lets you navigate those (brain
damaged) sites that use flash for navigation.
