I can get a new box and PSU for a recent motherboard for about 30, but
boxes for older kit are less easy to get, while the time taken to transfer
a working motherboard from a working box is probably not worth the bother.
A friend successfully cleans up and re-sells old part-exchanged P2/P3
boxes, reloaded with windows, a replacement keyboard, mouse, and monitor,
to small businesses in West London, but he also makes money selling the
new kit that brings him the part-exchange.
