[Gllug] Large amount of files in a SMB mounted directory

Hi

I have a SMB mounted directory on my RedHat 8.0 server.

There are 1,400 files in the directory (incidentally all of the RPM
files from the 3 install CD's)

When I browse to the share and ls I get the following message

smb_proc_readdir_long: name=, result=-2, rcls=1, err=123

I think the large amount of files I'm trying to list is causing the
problem. Can anyone confirm this is a bug with the version of
samba-client in RH 8.0 and is there a workaround?

[root at wt-linuxwebhost-01 RPMS]# rpm -q samba-common samba-client
samba-common-2.2.5-10
samba-client-2.2.5-10

Thanks
