Well, as Ian has started the bragging :-)

I've been looking forward to working with Hammers/Opterons for some time,
and I also am impressed with them.

I now work for http://www.clustervision.com 
We recently put in a new cluster, composed of 35 dual Opterons in
at Manchester University. Using the Rioworks HDAMA motherboard.
Running the SuSE distribution for x86_64.
We're running kernel 2.4.22 on these also, and they look quite stable.

Happy to talk to anyone further about these, or to discuss how they
perform. Sticking my neck out here, they aren't some flaky weird hardware,
I hope they are shaping up to be a serious compute platform.
