[Gllug] realtek 8139too drivers

Hi,

I've had failed installs with Debian (beta 3 installer) and Gentoo 
2004.0, both for the same reason - unable to load the 8139 ethernet 
drivers.

Having this problem over two distros makes me wonder if there's 
something funny going on, but, despite googling, I can't find anything.

NB: drivers work fine with Slack 9.1

Has anyone had similar problems, or heard something about this?
