   The processor that my Zaurus uses is the same speed as the ARM chip in
the RISC PC I am using now. They are much more efficient than x86 series
chips, many of which use a RISC core to emulate the early x86 series.
   If you really do want an old 386 or 486 the main problem is usually the
limited amount of RAM that can be squeezed in to the very short SIMMs, the
main reason why I have junked so many (although I probably still have one or
two left in North Acton).
