[Gllug] enlightenment DR16.7.1 *new*

Hi everyone,

just been testing enlightenment dr16.7.1, compiled perfectly, no messing
around etc. There are no official debs for it yet but i cant see much
time going by before, anyway i didnt need anything unusual to compile
it. (rpms are availible for intel, sparc and ppc i believe)

it has quite a nice 'glass' effect for the menus and tooltips
(configurable of course) letting you see stuff slightly refracted
(kinda) as the menu background.

Also, the new default theme 'winter' is very nice,

for the time being i have thrown out metacity and this far ive not had
any bother (gnome 2.6), im having particular fun with eesh and have made
use of a little hack to create myself a little 'quake console' that will
pop down or roll up when i press the 'grave' key [usually found under
esc]. 
i just googled for 'enlightenment quake console' :-)
