Not so good: the AOL contract runs for another nine months, so there's no 
chance she'll change over to another provider since the AOL connection works 
fine on her Windows installation.
It's disappointing that it can't be "persuaded" to work with Linux, as it's 
the operating system that's going to get the blame.
Are there no ways around it?
