[Gllug] subversion

Subversion has some user advantages over CVS -- atomic commits spring
to me -- but CVS beats it in terms of the fact that you can actually
hand-edit the repository easily.

I'm currently investigating whether my future version control software
will be Arch or DARCS (the favorite right now).  THOSE are a leap
forwards.
