I would agree ECC memory is really a must these days, at least if you have
really important stuff on your PC.
However, it does seem that finding motherboards with north/south chips or
whatever their called these days that support ECC is very difficult. Only
server motherboards using something like a ServerWorks chip seem to offer
ECC (at least on the specs quoted on websites).

Personally I think that as RAM gets smaller and faster the bit-flipping likeli=
hood will only increase.
