Just got off the phone with Dell, the reply was that there was a pricing
issue with those orders and that all the orders that were made have been
cancelled. In my opinion this is really off, they may well be able to do
this under the law but the least they could have done was to inform all
us people who had placed an order that there was an error. Instead they
decide to leave us out in the cold. Why did this happen and will it ever
happen again. Dell have left me with not a lot of confidence in there
online ordering system, after this.
Should we all maybe take some action about this, at least maybe send
something into the Register, I mean what if this happens on the Dell
site again, some customers out there could end up buying something which
they were not after.
