   You are probably right, the box I use for writing CD's is still running
Woody, I have not yet tried the DVD writer on the box recently loaded with
Sarge and 2.6, which was the one giving difficulties accessing a SCSI disc
when everything else is IDE (cured by loading the SCSI driver module using
/etc/modules).
