[hmm first attempt to post got munged lets try again :-]

Back at the last meeting I showed off two cool pieces of hardware.
Here are the promised links

[1] The Linksys NSLU2 an Embedded Linux Network attached storage device

	http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Reviews-155-ProdID-NSLU2.php

The following contains links to the original articles which got me
interested in the NSLU2

	http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Main/Articles

of course that whole site contains loads of cool stuff. :-)

However loads of people are now doing similar things, they all have their
advantages and disadvantages, examples are

	Buffalo Kuro Box	http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Reviews-171-ProdID-KUROBOX.php
	Buffalo Linkstation
	Ovislink WMU-9000VPN	http://ovislink.com.tw/9000intro.htm
US Robotics Secure Storage Router Pro (USR 8200)
	NETGEAR's WGT634U

[2] a cool IDE->USB2 convertor, which allows you to easily access those
spare IDE drives, sitting in a pile in the corner, without have to crack open
any working computers to try them in.

  - Maplin USB 2.0 to IDE Adaptor £19.99
http://maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=3D35057&TabID=3D1&source=3D15&WorldID=3D4&doy=3D28m11

  - Scan HU-IDE - USB (2.0/1.1) to IDE Converter £17.61
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?WebProductID=3D157513

Note: both these devices, are probably identical, I got mine from Maplin's
and it just worked. It came with a 2.5" drive adapter and power supply.
They are read/write adapters, if you wanted to do real forensic diagnosis,
or want SCSI or SATA support, you need to look elsewhere. For example,

but just check out google
