Firstly I appologise in advance for the disclaimer on my mail. I appreciate
it offends some people but I have asked and my mail will be no exception to
the corporate rule.

I've been watching on and off during the day and this seems really silly.
The person who started it has kept quiet, I assume they are watching
everyone argue with each other and find it quite amusing. I have had
abusive mail from this person too.

Not everyone on this list is a linux guru, some of us use it to learn. We
may not be aware that we are causing offense and there may be good reasons
why we cannot use a personal account during working hours or why you
recieved an out of office message. We are not all perfect beings.

The people who like to send offensive messages (on & off list) to those of
us who transgress are not helping the cause. If you want people to see that
this is a supportive community this isn't the way.

If you feel so affronted that you must respond please try to point out to
the person the eroor of their ways so they can get it right next time.
Swearing and abuse will never get your message across.

Sue
