The reason my company got one was so that we could move office without 
having to change the phone number people called, we can just point the 
0870 number at any underlying number whenever it changes.  Of course 
we've only actually moved once in the time we've had the number, but we 
do at least have a national client base who are companies rather than 
individuals.
