As they would.  If you are using dotted quad notation for an email address, 
and assuming every server involved supports it, then you must close the IP 
in square brackets. For example:  user@[213.15.228.90]

For testing purposes, it would probably be a better idea to point MX 
records for a subdomain of yours at this IP.
