Remember that it's only the "currently highlighted text" that gets pasted, so 
you can't go and do something else inbetween hightlighting and pasting.

Hmm - you might be better off with a trackball than a mouse, actually - when 
I'm pasting into a windowed app, I always end up nudging the cursor before 
inserting.
