sorry about the length....  I've left the "options ide-cd ignore=hda" as 
its the only thing I found on the web that should make it work. take it 
out and the ide-cd module uses the cdrom.

dmesg = output from dmesg
lsmod = output from lsmod
modules.conf = /etc/modules.conf
info = /proc/sys/dev/cdrom/info
cmdline = /proc/cmdline
