thanks for the tips,
I can write when logged on as root, wow! that's a releaf I thought I was
cracking up...
Not so sure with your permission tips though, in properties -> sharing, the
only options I have are "share this folder on the network" (ticked) and
"allow network users to change my files" (ticked).
Any ideas?
